I replaced a lost drivers license. I was in and out in less than 15 min. It was the 1st of the month too.
Here 45 mins before office closed and the examiner had already locked the door. She saw me peeking in and came to the door shaking her head and clearly saying something I couldn't make out. She cracked the door and told me all testing at every office ends at 3:30. I replied the DPS website shows this office is open until 4:30 and since we had 45 minutes and only all needed a learner's permit, would she please let us in. She replied no. I asked if she could show me the testing cutoff on the DPS website at which point she shut the door and locked it again and went back to whatever she was doing.
It only took 15 minutes to bring my car into the state from California. Unbelievable! It was even the last day of the month! If you want to get in and out, my suggestion is to get there at 8am.
Hire more than 2 people at the desk....idiots.
Sooooooo Slow...... If you aren't a people person maybe you shouldn't have a job where you have to dral with people all day every day.
